Within the framework of his visit to Brussels, the Vice Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of Georgia held a meeting with the Permanent Representatives of the NATO Member States. During the meeting, the Alliance, as well as its Member States reaffirmed their strong support for Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration and pledged to give the country their political and practical backing on this path.

President Zourabichvili Ends Japan Working Visit with Meeting with Prime Minister Shinzō Abe

President Salome Zourabichvili met with Shinzō Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, and discussed ways on increasing the bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Japan. President Zourabichvili briefed the Japanese Prime Minister on the current situation in Georgia’s occupied territories, including the “borderization” process, human rights violations, and the grave humanitarian situation. The President thanked Mr. Abe for supporting Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
