Starting from March 1, 2026, amendments to the Law of Georgia "On Labour Migration" will enter into force. The purpose of legislative changes is to improve the mechanisms for regulating and managing migration processes, reduce illegal migration, protect Georgia's labour market, and ensure its sustainable development.
All tourists entering Georgia from January 1st, 2026 are required to hold a valid health and accident insurance policy.

He emphasized the need to strengthen the existing friendly relations between the countries and the need to further deepen relations in various directions, including deepening trade and economic ties, the possibility of concluding a free trade agreement, deepening people-to-people ties, etc.
