Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, H.E. Mr. Teimuraz Lezhava held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, H.E. Mr. Hisayuki Fujii. The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Japanese side for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia. He emphasized the need to strengthen the existing friendly relations between the countries and the need to further deepen relations in various directions, including deepening trade and economic ties, the possibility of concluding a free trade agreement, deepening people-to-people ties, etc.
