Ambassador of Georgia held a meeting with the Governor of Tokushima Prefecture

On August 12, 2017 the Ambassador of Georgia, Dr. Levan Tsintsadze held a meeting with the Governor of Tokushima Prefecture, Mr. IIzumi Kamon. The main Topic of the meeting was deepening people to people relations between Georgia and Tokushima. The Ambassador introduced Georgian history and culture to Mr. Kamon. Tokushima has the 400 years tradition of folk dance, so the representatives of local government expressed an interest in Georgian traditional dance culture.

During the meeting deepening of the economic relations was also discussed. The Ambassador emphasized attractive business and investment environment of Georgia. The representatives of the local government once again expressed hope that the Georgian national rugby team will use the preparatory camp in the Tokushima Prefecture for the 2019 Rugby World Championship.

At the end of the meeting both sides expressed their willingness to deepen cooperation.
