COVID-19 Travel Restrictions at Georgian Border

Please note: Travel restrictions have been imposed at the Georgian Border due to circumstances created by the spread of COVID-19.

For citizens of Georgia: 
 
- Citizens of Georgia are strongly advised against travelling, except where necessary, to countries identified by WHO as being at high coronavirus epidemic risk, specifically, to China, South Korea, Italy and Iran;
- Please note that after travelling in or transiting through the aforesaid countries, you will be obliged to undergo intensive checking procedures at Georgian border checkpoints and then remain in 14-day quarantine.
 
For citizens of Foreign Countries:
 
Citizens of foreign countries travelling to Georgia during the given period will be subject to certain Coronavirus restrictions on Georgian border.
 
Any person who during the past 14 days has been staying in or transiting through any of the countries identified by WHO as being at high coronavirus epidemic risk (China, South Korea, Italy and Iran) 
 
- will be obliged to undergo intensive checking procedures at Georgian border checkpoint and then  remain in 14-day quarantine;

or
 
- will be obliged to present coronavirus-free (PCR) certificate issued by a laboratory of the country of departure or, in case of transit, by a laboratory of the transit country.
